Experts-in-Residence

We know choosing the right professionals, services, and organizations to help you manage the complexities of divorce are some of the most important decisions you can make.

Help that won't overwhelm you

And although they can be helpful, Google, AI, and ‘find a [fill in the blank]’ online directories can be overwhelming to navigate and still don’t give you an idea of who you can really trust to help when your life feels like it’s spinning out of control and you want to rebuild with confidence.

That’s why we’ve launched Sincerely, Divorced ‘Experts-in-Residence’ to serve this community like we do—prioritizing genuine relationships and quality interactions with you over time.

Quality and hope over quantity

In other words, this isn’t about the quantity of resources or experts we can share, it’s about giving this community an accessible, curated, and collaborative team of expert resources that will:

  • Be a trusted starting point for you no matter where you are
  • Be a source of encouragement and hope
  • Have a positive impact on your life and divorce journey no matter what role they ultimately play

Each Sincerely, Divorced Expert-in-Residence is committed to being a consistent presence and supporter just like we try to be, but in a very defined area of expertise (e.g., financial, health and wellness, parenting, legal, etc.) related to ending a long-term relationship and building a new chapter.

The selection process

We hand-select each Sincerely, Divorced Expert-in-Residence through a rigorous values-based research process and assessment. Instead of offering you 12 providers in a single category, we select one provider for a category who is required to demonstrate:

  • a breadth and depth of knowledge in their area of expertise;
  • the ability to provide general guidance to people beyond their primary geographical location
  • an enhanced professional network of colleagues beyond their primary geographical location for direct referrals
  • evidence of community involvement and providing support to a wide range of people including all genders, ages, identities, relationship types, etc.

Reach out to one of our experts and see for yourself how they can make a positive impact on your journey.
